Late For A Flight? Don’t Do What This Bochur Did…

Dan, please remove this post. It is not a deal nor a freebe. It is not even useful information. It is simply outright Loshon Horah about another Yid (and a Lubavitcher, to say the least).

You’ve got a great site going, and it would be a pity to have fans and readers lose their respect because of this one post.

If you have the need to spice up this blog with some humor, there are many other jokes that can be posted. (Your post about the remote controlled airplane is a good example of that).

I completely disagree – I think all Bochurim need a wake up call. It’s a terrible shame this happened – but people should realize the importance of being on time or even early!

Publishing something that is already in a newspaper read by a couple hundred thousand readers daily is NOT loshon hora. Your claim of Loshon Hora is simply a cop-out!

Thanks for publishing! you have done the correct thing by condemming someone’s stupid behavior. We are all obligated to stand up and condemn one of our own when they behave incorrectly. if the rest of the world stood up and condemned all of the wrong behavior that others did, we’d be a much better society.

i agree with the first anonymous! please remove this post as it is outright loshon hora. most people would not have known about this story and now it will probably be the latest in every yeshiva zal. you do have a great site going and it would be a shame to ruin it with this.

I’m amazed at the lack of sensitivity of some of the previous posts. While they seem to claim that this post is “leshem shomayim” (saving buchurim, and indeed, all of Jewry from missing flights), they seem to forget that it is a the expense of making another Jew the butt of the joke. This is not the first story of someone late to a flight, nor someone making a bomb scare to make it.

Dan, with respect, this post was entered with bad taste.

i have heard bochurim discussing this sort of thing over the years.

a smarter way to do this would have been to use the payphone to call one of his friens to do it, not make a bomb threat from INSIDE the airport where big brother is watching every nook and cranny.

This post should stay as a moshul about one’s behavior. If only we would first stop to think about the consequences of our actions (or inactions). Think of what a better place this world would be. As for the anonymous poster of 233pm about having a friend call, what is the matter with you. An aveirah is an aveirah reagardless of whom you involve.
