No problem.
I was in Costco today in CLE looking for something like this and they didn’t have anything. I thought I saw something in the past though, so thanks for posting those prices. The $200+ one is probably a Le Creuset, and their store brand isn’t worth double the Lodge price.
I just bought my wife the red one for fleishig for $49, hope it’s as good as the reviewers say it is! Gotta’ love Prime, Amazon guaranteed I’ll have it by Thursday with no shipping charges.
Anyone have any great stew recipes or have other good uses for these pots?
Yes, the most delicious bread can be made in a dutch oven. Look up Jim Lahey of Sullivan Street Bakery and make his no knead bread in your dutch oven. Let it rise at least 18 hours. Deeeelicious!
I was also going to suggest Jim Lahey’s bread-making method. Get his book “My Bread”. You won’t believe how easy and delicious the bread is!
