1. header should read “2012” not 2011
2. what about the regular AAdvantage Card?

Dan

@dan fan:
Thanks šŸ™‚
Which card exactly do you have? What does it say on it?

joeb1

two letters of advice before anyone jumps on this deal- BA

thingywingy

My card does not say select but is Aadvantage visa platinum level. I imagine it applies to my card. Correct?

asdf

I booked a flight on the 20th, do you think there is any chance to get a credit?

Gitty

@joeb1: Correct. But NYC – Arizona: BA – 35K, AA – 17K, is a big difference. etc…

AAdvantage Platinum Level Visa fr/ Citi

ozzy

What if I already reserved a ticket with AA in February, can I call up and ask them to reduce the amounts by 7500 miles?

baFlyer

I still love my BA avios miles… RDU – NYC for only 9000BA miles round-trip.

Dan

BA is great for nonstop short coach flights within the western hemisphere.
For anything else AA miles are better.

ac

this only works for certain destinations. Doesn’t work for Tucson! šŸ™
But on the upside, AA reservations are really nice. So at least I had a nice experience on the phone.

Iggy

Can I use my AA miles to book someone else a ticket? I’m thinking of getting their Platinum Card if I can.

Dan

@Iggy:
Sure!

Iggy

Sweet. Thanks for the answer!

Shane
