Dan
I know its not in place here. But I was wondering if you can answer me. I have the BA Chase card and I received an offer from the Chase Sapphire Preffered. I spoke to my Chase banker to consolidate it and he said that he can do it but I must use my BA miles before I do it or else it will be lost. Is this true?
thank you
does this work for partners also?
cool!!
Thanks Dan
So if I’m reading this correctly, there’s no mileage bonus on spendable miles, only a bonus towards elite qualification. Oh well.
@huda – looks like it’s only when flying on AA.
BA miles stay for 36 months, so I think your banker is wrong.
@avi: No! Your miles are safe with BA, and your subject to their terms and conditions whatever they may be. Bankers are clueless.
THANKS DAN
Hey Dan,
I was wondering. How do I book a flight with AA with my BA miles?
Can i do it on the BA website, or do i need to do with another way?
im traveling today on continental do you think theyll match today?
does this double the miles earned for trips in this time period? is only for gold status and up?
@asks – It does not double the miles earned, it only helps to earn status.
