Update: The 1,000 mile enrollment offer for United cardholders ends tomorrow!
If you have a United℠ Explorer Card and enroll in BP Driver Rewards to earn United miles via the link above, you’ll earn 1,000 bonus United miles for making a fuel transaction by 12/31/18. If you don’t have a United card you’ll earn 200 bonus miles.
You’ll also earn 2 United miles per gallon of gas if you have a linked credit card or 3 United miles per gallon of premium gas if you have a linked credit card.
Note that you may be better off opting to earn free gas rather than United miles. See the comparison between the 2 BP Rewards programs here.
Either way, it’s worth signing up for United miles for the miles signup bonus and then switching over to fuel rewards should you prefer to earn discounted gas.

I don’t think it’s available in California
do i have to link my united mileage plus card? or any credit card?
@Dan ?
It’s also a great way to extend your united miles so they don’t expire
I’m pretty sure your miles don’t expire if you have the Chase United card, which seems to be a requirement for this deal.
Is it a limit once per United account, or once per bp fuel rewards.
Did this a couple weeks ago. Note the fine print. You’ll get 200 miles first (mine posted next day). Then in a separate transaction you’ll get the additional 800 miles (mine posted a week later).
a $10 full will be enough to receive the 1k bonus ?
Yes, did $5
Do I have to use it at BP station?
Do I have to link my united card or can I link any card?
I called the BP-United program phone number and they said that you get the 800 miles no matter which card you link. Does NOT have to be the United credit card.
You can find nearby BP stations at mybpstation.com
As long as you have a united miles account, you can use any credit card to earn the United miles it doesn’t have to be the United one
I signed up 12/30 with my United card and made a purchase 12/31 and all I got was the 200 miles…. oh well
