I think ‘hold by’ would be a better term than ‘trust’. Every hasgocho in the world trusts the OU for basic ingredients. However the OU has many kulos that some people don’t rely on for certain products. In the case if twizzlers, flour is a key ingredient and the OU is meikil on yoshon.

As the only item in my cart, amazon is not letting me checkout – being that’s it’s an add on item.
From the article it sounds like I should be able to checkout being that it’s subscribe and save.

just realized the issue; although i have a credit card on file, i don’t have a ‘preferred payment option set’, which, apparently is a necessity for s&s.
Therefore it’s not letting me place the order.
I called amazon, spoke to an incompetent rep, that totally didn’t get the issue, transferred to a supervisor who said there seemed to be an issue with the system and therefore advised me to buy three – to meet the minimum of $25. She said that after the order would be placed she would reduce the quantity so that I’d only be charged for one unit.
That failed – she couldn’t reduce the quantity and rather advised i just cancel the order.
(At this point I recieved an email from amazon stating that there was an issue with my s&s item as I didn’t have the abovementioned preferred payment option set)
Rather than cancelling I suggested to the supervisor that she just credit me back for the 2 extra units that I hadn’t planned on buying.
Of course, she obliged!

OK I saw this on my Linux Chrome browser as an add on item, then again on my mobile and when I refreshed it, the add-on disappeared and was replaced by a 3rd party seller for $15. Ditto on a chromebook, so it looks like its dead now

These don’t appear to be individually wrapped. Probably go stale quickly.
They are not indvidually wrapped.
Regarding going stale, however, that would really depend on how fast you eat them; if it takes you a while, then yes that may be an issue. If however you go through, say, a tub a week or a a tub a day, then you’re not really giving them much time to make it to the stale point..
