Legit?
Yes, we’ve posted their deals several times without any complaints.
Yes! We have been doing this for years.
How is this not a scam?
Why is it a scam? They need more coins than they can get on their own, so they will pay a premium to get more.
Why do they need it? what can it be used for?
they’re collectibles.
We have large buyers that need hundreds/thousands of these coins. With the household limit they need groups like ours to acquire bulk for them. – And pay us a premium, which we share with our members. It’s quite straightforward and most definitely not a scam.
In all seriousness, are you recommending this offer?
I’ve done it myself with them, so sure.
Anyone have 1st hand experience with this and is there any downside in doing this to help me make my mininum spend for my new credit card? (Saphire preffered)
I’ve done it, it will work fine for that.
I have done deals with them before and I had a great experience
I’ve participated in these deals with this company, its 100% legit and they payout within a day of them receiving the coins you ship to them. Great way to build air miles and make a few dollars.
I’ve done it too. All smooth… and they respond to inquiries as well.
I’ve done it too great experience
Which card will you use to buy?
Do you have any new cards that need to meet a spend threshold?
Otherwise, any card you use for everyday spending, like a Freedom Unlimited, Ink Unlimited, Citi Double Cash, etc.
Thank You
Amex business blue?
Sure!
How do they pay you back?
via check or PayPal
We pay either via Check or PayPal (Friends and Family (so no fees))

Until when will it be for sale and until when is this promotion run? Debating whether to open a new card to meet minimum threshold
PFS is only allowing a 10 min window to place orders. 12:00 – 12:10pm on Thursday Sep 6.
In your case you’ll have to apply for a new card today and ask to have it overnighted.
The coins go on sale Thursday noon. We expect it to sellout within a few minutes.
how come there arent any phone numbers or emails to contact them and no personal information at all? no address no bio. what happens when theres a problem?
we have a contact form. but don’t want to get spammed with phone calls / emails. Again, we’ve done this for years – dozens of deals – and have never had an unsatisfied member.
theres no name or address . is there someone specific that handles things?
What deal code should I use if any?
Sorry, there are no deal codes this go around
I’ve done this before. Legit. 50$ for 10 mins of work. Not a bad deal. Good luck!
Thanks!
Rickster, and if the price of coins drop drastically over night (after your purchase), then what? No Better Business rating, no contact phone numbers or physical mailing office addresses- no thank you.
We have gone through this with many deals in the past with PFS.
They have purchase orders at this rate even if the price falls. That has happened and people trying to sell on their own have gotten left holding the bag, but people that registered always got paid the amount promised.
We have never had a single complaint.
every coin i purchase has been pre-sold – locked in with my buyers. They have lost money – as you stated – the price of these can and do fluctuate drastically – in past deals and have come thru every penny, every single time.
Can you verify how they pay, via ACH? And exactly how long does it take for them to pay?
We pay via Check or PayPal (Friends and Family (so no fees)). As per deal terms, we pay within 7 business days of receiving the coins from our members.
Guys, this might be totally legit but I would not do it. I’m risking $1400 to make $50 plus some miles. Doesn’t seem like a great risk/reward in the odd chance I get stuck.
JMHO.
We have ran this ad for PFS many times in the past without any issues, but to each their own.
How fast do they pay you back and in what form?
We pay via Check or PayPal (Friends and Family (so no fees)). As per deal terms, we pay within 7 business days of receiving the coins from our members.
Why not sell it on ebay for more profit?
-The price can fall there as it typically does.
-You might not be able to buy one, so you can’t presell it there. If you wait until after the same it may not be worth more than you paid.
-The buyer can scam you by saying the box was empty and dispute it on his credit card.
-eBay and Paypal charge hefty fees.
If you’re ok with those risks, go for it.
If you want a sure thing, I’d go with PFS personally.
Look at prices for coins from last year. worth almost 1k more. don’t think you are risking a loss here.
That’s another option – with lots of different risks – but yes that’s an option. We are offering a guaranteed deal with no risks – it’s a very different type of option.
How will one know which coin to purchase? i dont see any info on the said coin
after you opt in we give (very) detailed instructions.
Shipping precious metal with Fedex isn’t insured (only USPS registered mail) yet that’s how they ask you to ship. What happens if the coin is lost in the mail when sending it to them?
All our boxes are fully insured. most 3rd party insurance ONLY use fedex for these items.
The deal sounds legit based on reviews, etc. However, as a few other readers pointed out, your website has absolutely no information about who you are, what your address is, what your name is, what you email address is, etc. While everyone might have had great success with this in the past, that doesn’t mean something can’t happen in the future; not saying something will happen, but one never knows. It’s suggested that you update your website and provide more detailed information. Spamming can be prevented by simply having a captcha-type interface – easy.
I’ll think about it. Thanks
the mint has a limit on how many coins a dealer can buy.
Yes, no matter who you are, you can only buy 1 of these per each household.
I’ve done this twice with no problems. In the beginning we had to drop off coins in a jewelry store in Crown Heights,
Thanks Yankel
Can I use the same credit card for a few accounts?
no
I’ve done this many times with them and never had a problem. I’ve met the owner once dropping off and he is a very nice and honest person.
Besides do you think Dan would risk his credibility with his readers if there was any doubt about the legitimacy of the deal?
Not saying it’s for everyone but as far as “legit” is concerned, this is.
thanks!
I hear all the “past” good experiences but with no contact info or anything of substance online, what’s stopping them from getting thousands of these coins from us and “run away”?
An easy million dollar payout.
Again not judging. I trust Dan but we need a little more info.
The billing and shipping address have to be the same?
no, but it’s better that they are.
Can i use a second account with different shipping addresses but same billing addresses?
no. same billing address would constitute more than 1 per household.
What happens if I register and miss the deal?
nothing. but we’re asking you to do all you can if you opt in.
is it worth opting in if I know I will only be able to participate using a phone?
able? – likely, yes. speed of connection will matter if sells out in 2-3 minutes.
I couldn’t find it on the website at the US Mint. Do we know when these coins will ship/delivered? I want to participate but will be going on vacation at the end of the month.
sold on Sep 6th, likely shipped the day after (Friday) or early next week. Shipped via UPS Ground from TN
Thanks. I should have time to ship it to you.
can we use same shipping but multiple billing addresses?
There has been times that I’ve seen that work though other times the Mint has canceled those orders.
Can my wife and I order one coin each from US Mint (if we have the same billing and shipping address but use different credit cards)? Thanks!
No ,one per household.
READ THE POST.
*There’s a slight chance that the coin’s price will be $50 lower or $50 higher than what’s posted here. (This will only occur if Spot Palladium prices move drastically in the next few days.) Even if that change does take place, our deal will still be active – the commission will be the exact same – it’s just the total price will be adjusted $50 lower or higher. The price will become official on Wednesday.
so it’s mean that no matter what you will pay the coin+shipping+only$50 extra ?
that’s correct ?
Yes
After it goes on sale. How long does it sell out in?
So what happens if I “opt in” but then it sells out before I can purchase it. Obviously I would be ready right when they start selling it but just curious what the implications are if I opt in and do not get a coin. Thanks.
Do I need to pay any Tax for this (buying selling)?
https://catalog.usmint.gov/faqs/order-and-payment-processing/
“Since the United States Mint is a federal government operation, purchases are exempt from sales tax.”
As for income tax, this should be no different than any other income. Generally all income is taxable, but that does not necessarily mean you will pay any tax when you file your tax return. Consult your tax professional.
Do I need two account with PFS if I can buy two coins?
How do I get on this deal? I already opted-in and everything. Do i need to log back in to the pfs buyer’s club website to complete my order?
I did it 4 times.
Very straightforward and very good communication.
They kept their side of the bargain exactly as they described.
I have bought with them a couple times. Always got paid rightaway
I’m not sure what’s so confusing to everyone. This is not a new concept. There are tens and tens of thes “buying groups” that buy everything under the sun, from electronics to coins to coffee machines. Everyone wins- the group gets a lot of items which they make nice profit on, you make sone Commission, and you make miles. It’s quite so one and ingenious for the new Retail Arbitrage market out there
How many can I order? And what info will I have to change to order more? E.g. address, CC, etc.
Is there a drop-off option with these coins or can they only be shipped to PFS?
Item Number: 18EK
Mintage Limit: 15,000
Product Limit: 15,000
what is palladium anyways and why is it so expensive?
used to make the Flux Capacitor in the Dolorian
You mean, Delorean Flux Capacitor
Close that was Plutonium, but I love the joke.
If I’m going out of town next week and thus will not be able to ship the package within 2 days of arrival. Should I skip this one?
Or is the 2 day rule more of a guideline?
Same question – leaving next weds for one week. Will the coin arrive by Tuesday the 11th? It says shipping time 1-2 weeks. Or can I hope the coin will arrive no earlier than the 19th? Thanks!
Am I allowed to open the box to see the coin before I ship to you?
Does the prepaid FedEx shipping label including a house call for pickup, or must I drop it off at a Fedex Store?
Can it be 1 credit card 2 separate address?
I’m unable to save an address on the mint site or add anything to the cart. I tried a few (updated) browsers. Any ideas?
Would Amex consider a charge from US MINT as a “cash equivalent”?
No.
In case you were wondering you can melt it and build the arc reactor that powers Iron man’s suit
If we have more than one address, household can we do it more than once?
With all deals there is a risk. If you can’t afford to lose the money invested then don’t do it.
can u explain this:
“Important – our base case expectation is that these coins will sell out rather quickly (hence the attractive risk free profit we are offering). We need our buyers to place their orders as early as possible. We are therefore not committing to purchase any coins that were ordered after 12:10PM ET. ”
if coins r still available after 12:10, whats the problem with buying them? why cant you commit?
How long do the coins take to arrive?
Never mind my question. For those who were wondering how long coins take to arrive, here is the info: https://catalog.usmint.gov/customer-service/shipping.html
“Join this deal here”, i don’t think this is the link to buy the coin, is it?
Please send the correct link to purchase the coin.

anyone else having an issue entering their order confirmation into the PFS website?
yes me. how do i find my confirmation ID?
the confirmation ID was on the page when you completed your order
Your Order Number is something like: Order Number: USM060XXXX
The Screen is just dark grey and doesn’t allow me to enter any info. Im definitely at the right place – its just not letting me do it
Does anyone know how to contact this PFS group? there’s no email/phone number or anything else listed on their site.

C’mon bro. Only 9? I got 14…
Brooo ccmmmoon I got 34!!!
Was able to enter USM code from a desktop; didn’t work from mobile device.
Got a lucky 13 of them. Mailboxes, people…
Mailboxes, people? how do you do mailboxes?
Because the US Mint strictly prohibits households from purchasing more than one such coin, the type of arrangement described in this ad may be classified as a “straw purchase.” Such purchases certainly harm collectors, and their legality may not be as clear as some have claimed.
Even if you consider it a straw purchase, it is still within the terms of the “one per household”. Would be no different if you wanted 2 of something and you had your parents or best friend buy one for you and you reimbursed them. The purchases by PFS is most likely going in the hands of a collector anyways, they may have to pay more for them, but that is the cost of not being able to buy when the coin is released. Try again bud.
Cheer up. There is nothing here that binds anyone to PFS. You are not required to purchase the coin, not penalized if you don’t get the coin, and not required to resell the coin to PFS even if you do buy it. PFS doesn’t even ask for your home address or phone number.
Not sure where you see anything illegal about that. The arrangement PFS has with it’s buyers may be another story, but even still you can’t make an assumption that they have one buyer buying all these coins. For all you know they are just acting as an agent to people who want to buy but don’t have the time to sit by a computer in the middle of the day.
I’m not sure how you see “Such purchases harm collectors”. No one is purchasing this coin to use as currency, the only people buying them are collectors and speculators.
Yeah, but the U.S. Mint stated 1 per household for a reason. If it intended for dealers to buy them all up and resell them at a profit it would have not limited people to 1. A reasonable person would have to agree this scheme is designed to circumvent the rule. I’m sure it is legal to do so, but let’s not pretend Joseph doesn’t have a point.
Don’t read too much into the one per household rule . It’s to give everyone a fair chance. Otherwise guaranteed one person would buy all of them. Jospeh does not have a valid point because what harms collectors is the mint’s rule of one per household.
Your points are not consistent with each other. You acknowledge that without the rule, one person would buy them all. But then you say the rule is what harms collectors in the next sentence.
There is no need for the two statements to be consistent.
The first sentence is stating a “Straw Purchase” does not harm collectors.
The second is referencing the the mint’s rule. In my opinion the rule hurts collectors as it forces them pay a premium if they want more than the one coin they could order by themselves.
Slots – what makes you say you’re not obligated to resell to PFS? I believe their agreement states that the buyer commits to selling to PFS and owes damages if it’s not followed through .
Coin is available again do not know if they still want to buy it
The coin is not available for purchase from the US mint only on third part websites.
One of my orders was processing for almost two weeks and it just got canceled…. do you think I could get something from them for the inconvenience?
How is this supposed to work. I received my coin and in my PFS account it says “ordered”. When/how am I supposed to ship the coin?
Have you contacted them?
I would love to, but I cant find any contact information on their website.
Please use the Contact PFS Buyers Club form on the bottom of the home page.
Thanks!
