This is a 2nd controller to add onto the Nintendo NES Classic Edition, which is available here for $59.99. The console comes with just one controller.
The controller cord is very short, so I’d highly recommend buying this to extend the length.

Not sure how you got it for $2.22…If by prime day discount you mean the $5 prime credit after the $25 gift card purchase then that leaves you with a charge of $4.99…
Think he meant 10 – 5 (gc buying credit) – 2 (amex promo) – no rush credit plus tax
