Hey Dan, I’ve got terrible news for the “apply for credit cards for the sign-up bonus” community.
Check out this excerpt from the Chase-United application form:
You will receive bonus Miles when you make $250 in Eligible Purchases. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after your Eligible Purchases appear on your billing statement for bonus Miles to post to your account… This offer is valid only for first-time cardmembers with new accounts.
