Any thoughts if this is a decent printer if I just print B/W text docs?
This printer is not meant for documents.
Its main usage will be printing photos which it does a great job doing.
I have personally used this printer and the photos have come out were Superb.

Thanks Mendy!
My Wife is a print designer … I got a similar deal a couple years ago just spent 120 on my second set of cartridges .. Its a very very good photo printer which can do large prints.
I bought this deal again because it a full set of cartridges + the print heads + 50 photo 13*19″ photo for only $60 … bargain.
how is it 59? it says 119 after rebates
Use code: bhoptic18
thanks
It rings up as $370 – $250(MIR) = $120. Am I missing something?
Showing up for $119.99 in my cart…
Use code: bhoptic18
Price changed to $119 after rebate. I guess they are signed up to DD

Can you connect this to a computer without wifi?
You should be able to use a USB cable to connect it.
How much do the inks generally cost to replace?
Should cart total be $309 after applying the code?
yes, and then you should submit the rebate
How long does it take to get the rebate?
“Allow 60 days for processing of claim” in the fine lines on the rebate pdf
Most rebates tend to take 8 weeks.
You can always pre submit your claim http://rebates.usa.canon.com/.

If you call the number on back of the gift card you can reject the terms of the rebate gift card and get a check.
The code doesn’t actually change anything when I use it…the item price remains the same. Is that what is supposed to happen as I see other postings showing a discount at check out
Not working for me either
Code no longer needed as we adjusted the price to $309.99 which was the price with the promo code.

Is the adjusted price still available? Currently is it at $369.99 – a little late to the game but I would love to order one
This is an amazing printer if you need to print oversize color photographs. Although they are basically giving away the printer at this price, i must warn you that it is very thirsty, even just sitting there and not printing anything, the price of the ink will give you sticker shock. This printer is not suitable for cheap ink.
The only thing i find disappointing is the wireless interface, which leaves a lot to be desired.
What’s the per page cost of ink when printing?
This looks like an amazing deal, however I don’t really need a photo printer. How does this do on plain black and white printing, and is it cost effective? Thanks.
How much does a full 8 1/2 x 11 sheet cost to print?
Having trouble validating that BH is an accepted seller
When you go to the pre submit page and fill out the Info you will see an option of choosing the retailer.
You will type in like this B and H PHOTO.
That would be the correct option for B&H Photo.

Hi.
It’s 309+tax in the end right?
Yes
hi there is no where on bh check out to enter code or coupon
Getting ready to file the MIR, do I need to mail in the UPC from the paper as well?
I received my rebate card in the mail today and called Amex to reject the terms of the card. Waited over an hour for someone to pick up. At first, the representative told me that they would not be able to send me out a check, but then I asked to speak with her supervisor and she came back a few mins later stating she would be able to send me a check, but it would take up to 20 business days. Just thought I’d let you all know. Total time on phone with Amex was 1 hr 19 mins and 37 secs.
Can you confirm if you only submitted the barcode from the printer and not the paper?
I am worried I did it wrong.,
