Can Fedex be combined with amex open?

MM

Dan, any chance the Staples 10% off would work for Visa Gift card purchases even though it says in the terms and conditions that it doesn’t?

Me

It doesn’t say that. Look more carefully. 🙂

Sam A

It says not valid for gcs in bulk purchases. What exactly constitutes bulk purchases?

Marvin

My account has almost none of the good offers

Me

Staples and Lowe’s are only on business cards. Do you have any?

Marvin

no

Brian

Just a tip: you can use the KLM/AF offers on Delta metal for international flights. There was a similar 20k MR points offer for $1k+ on KLM back in November/December. Terms were essentially the same (i.e. flights had to originate in the USA). I needed to book Delta flights from JFK-FCO, so I just did it on KLM’s website (instead of Delta’s) using my Amex Platinum and boom, I earned the 20k MR points (plus 5x points on the airfare). Just one word of warning: if you have free bags on Delta via the Amex Delta Skymiles credit card, they may hassle you a bit at the airport since you technically booked with KLM. I just flashed the Amex Delta card at the Delta counter and got them to honor the free bags.

I just noticed it says “Not valid for gift cards in bulk purchases” for the Staples 10%. What does that mean? What is a bulk purchase?

yelped

Just noting that several of these offers come in MR versions for MR earning cards. Etsy, Allen Edmonds, Lampsplus.com, etc.

Also, the FedEx percentage back varies. I have it ranging from 5%-15% on different cards. None of them 25%.

Sillypainter

Does this work on additional cards as well? I have none at the moment to try. Was only worth it when SBS was alive 🙂

The terms/restrictions don’t generally matter if the charge is coming from the vendor directly. AMEX has no idea what you are buying. The issue with gift cards is something the change comes from a different vendor than the store itself. That’s the only thing that will jam you up

yy

Staples provides Level 3 data to Amex, so it’s not true that Amex has no idea what you’re buying.

I had the offer for Exxon/Mobil on Friday, now it is gone

kerrbro

I had to use this link to see some of the ads (from another DDF thread) americanexpress.com/domorebusiness

Joe

Anyone success w staples vgc?

MM

I purchased 2 yesterday. Nothing yet. Will try to let you know when I find out.

MM

Good news, I purchased 2 $200 visa gift cards from Staples on Sunday for $413.90 and as soon as it went from pending to posting on 6/5 a Staples credit also posted for $41.39. So 10% works on gift cards in store.

Mendel

My order was cancelled for having just 2 gift cards.

MM

What do you mean by your order was cancelled? I purchased in store not online

Zee

Zagguru
