can you buy a AE gift card with it
Not valid on gift cards, according to the t&c
“Credit must be used in its entirety in one transaction; no change or credit returned”
Does this mean once I get the store credit I can only make one purchase and if it’s not $100 I can’t make another purchase at a later date?
Use welcome20 to get 20% off first order instead of 10%
Men’s jeans are b1g1 50% off right now, with no code needed so it combines with this offer. My son wears a hard to find size so this helps.
does anyone know what happens if I have to return to exchange jeans that don’t fit?
I have no idea how using the credit might change things but I had no trouble exchanging 17 pairs I got online at a clearance price. I took them into a store and exchanged them there and it was no problem. Very customer friendly store in my experience and I still got credit for the free jeans rewards.
It says it’s sold out
Says sold out on site
Signed up for Gilt. Only after signing up does it say $60 credit is sold out. Is it worth it to join the waitlist?
Nevermind. Just keep refreshing. It became available again.
Ok, very confusing. It came up as available. I entered my payment info. It said I would be getting an email and had a link to see my order details. Clicking the link takes me to a page that says I have not placed any orders yet. If I go back to the AE voucher page, it says I have already purchased the limit on this item. Maybe just a slow system? Hoping my order went through.
Gilt account still says I don’t have any orders but voucher arrived in email.
This is what I was able to do. My oldest son is in a difficult to find size. We previously got 2 pairs of AE’s Core Flex Slim Selvedge Jeans for free through their reward program (buy 5 pairs of jeans and get one free (any price))and they fit him well and are extremely comfortable and he needs a few more pairs of jeans. They are $79.95 though and there is no way I’m paying that.
Put myself on the waitlist for the $60 credit and did the same for my husband’s account. Both became available quickly for purchase. Used Welcome20 and paid $48 each. Purchased 2 pairs of these jeans with the voucher, total was $19.93 x2. Went back and bought the single pair of jeans voucher good for up to $59.95. Gilt automatically applied the previous 10% discount they tried to give me and I paid $27 for that voucher. You can not take advantage of the b1g1 50% off deal with this single pair of jeans voucher. Paid 1 penny for a pair of jeans for my younger son. This brings my total of jeans purchased to 5, which means I will earn a reward for a free pair of jeans. I will redeem it for another pair of the $79.95 jeans. Total oop is $162.87, will get 6 pairs of jeans. Comes out to $27 a pair.
Thank you Dan!!
