Bose noise-cancelling headphones set the standard for noise cancellation. These awesome headphones are comfortable enough to wear for hours on end and are on sale for a fraction of their usual price. They’re built well and last for many years.
The noise cancellation drowns out the drone of the airplane engine so well that when you take them off in middle of a flight you’ll be in shock that you were ever able to fly without them. They make for a peaceful flight and I sleep like a baby on the plane with them over my ears. They’re also great whenever you need to drown out any noise around you.
Note that these are wired headphones. On the plus side though, a wired connection sounds better than a wireless connection and they run on one AAA battery instead of the built-in battery on the QC35s. Trust Dan on this one. These headphones are the best. I bought on Amazon in December as a gift to myself (from my DW and DC!) for $149. Seems that this price is about as low as it will go. Truly unbelievable on the plane. Hard to describe how much noise is reduced. Comfortable and well-built. Only downside in my mind is that now I have one more thing I can’t travel without. As always, thanks Dan.

noise cancelling is meant for low frequency noises, not really people’s voice. it’s more to cancel out bus/train/plane engine noises and ambient noises
