Paris is easily one of my favorite cities in the world. You can read my 2010 trip notes here and 2012 trip notes here.
Kosher travelers won’t go hungry in the city of lights.
Darjeeling makes the best kosher Indian food in the world and Thai One has some of the best kosher Thai food in the world as well. Both are glatt kosher, which is sadly a rarity in Paris. L’inte Cafe is a phenomenal dairy cholov yisoel restaurant. And L’As du Fallafel makes the best Felafel in Paris and gives even the best places in Israel a run for their money.
Chez Akol makes the most delectable cholov yisoel French pastries in the world. Saraden and Charles Trateiur also make great pastries. Damyel makes some of the best bittersweet chocolate in the world and Ardely makes great cholov yisroel chocolates.

We jumped on this deal last year (a little bit cheaper). We had a splendid time and encountered no Antisemitism. One word of caution, we went the last week of August. August is a month where many people in Paris vacation. Some food places (like the Thai place) were closed. We also had a tough time getting takeout food for shabbos because the smaller glatt places were closed – but we managed (chabbad was not an option for us). All the major tourist attractions were open though.
re:anti semitisim, were you overtly jewish?

When I try to purchase the ticket it says that I need a BA Visa card for this promotion? Any clue how to get the ticket without a BA card?
Other Chase consumer Visas work as well.

any possibility to a sale on ba to london febuary time ?
Like the first poster, we also booked this deal for August this past summer, spending only a day in Paris enroute to Nice, Antibes and Cannes… Las du falafel in Paris was excellent, but because of the timing many restaurants in Paris were closed. However everything along the coast was open. Between Nice, Antibes and Cannes there are dozens of kosher restaurants open during the summer months… chabad in nice was wondeful over Shabbos, and the local shul was an interesting experience as well… highly recommended trip!
One note on this flight – we flew BA8004, and it’s an old plane – the seats in economy are rickety, the cushions long ago worn out, no power plugs and there is no entertainment, either seatback or hanging from the overhead bins. Perhaps they fly other planes on the same route, but its not the most pleasant international flight. For the money it’s still a steal… but come prepared with your own entertainment, and maybe your own seat cushion!
I would second the statement about the planes not being comfortable and in poor shape, with no power plugs etc. I would add that they told me last summer that they were “scheduled” for new planes in Spring 2018. Also, while entertainment was on the seatback – they did provide everyone with an ipad loaded with hours of entertainment. That was fine. The meals were ok also.
As for restaurants along the coast, no idea – we were in Paris. One word of caution that bears repeating. Many meat places in France are not glatt or have a hashgacha that you might not be comfortable with. Don’t assume anything.
Any idea how long this deal will last?
is there an end date for this sale?
can you cancel within 24 hours for a full refund?
We booked tickets, but I’m really upset that when I called to reserve carrycot they said there are none on this plane:(( I’m traveling with a 5 month old and I did not expect this. I thought all international flights have bassinets. At least we got a good deal. Hopefully the flight will be ok…..
Book a seat for the infant and bring a carseat onboard?
Safer, will allow you and baby to sleep, etc.
True, but not sure I want to pay another 400$:/….. hopefully it won’t be a full flight and I’ll get an extra seat:) I have someone else coming with me so hopefully we’ll be ok…. I just didn’t expect it…
@dan is there a newer link of with discount. the main link with aarp is giving an error.
