-If you make a booking on WOW’s US site more than 7 days before the flight you can click to cancel it within 24 hours. You will then have to email wow@wow.is within 24 hours of the booking with a copy of the cancellation confirmation to get a refund.
WOW is fashioned as a ULCC (Ultra low-cost carrier) like Spirit, but WOW. Note that in case of flight cancellations WOW Air likely will not rebook you on another airline, so you may have to wait several days to be reaccommodated.
They advertise cheap fares, but the extras add up quickly.
For a one-trip way between the US and Israel you’ll pay:
-$50 in advance/$70 at checkin for a carry-on bag (22 x 18 x 10 in up to 26 lbs). You’ll pay an additional $60 if it doesn’t fit in their bag sizer and you’ll have to check it under.
-$70 in advance/$80 at checkin for a checked bag (up to 62″ and up to 44 lbs). You’ll pay an additional $18.18 per pound over 44 pounds.
-Reserving a seat will set you back an additional $20-$100 depending on the seat.
-Water, soda, and snacks cost extra.
-There’s no Wi-Fi or entertainment onboard.
However for an extra $97 each way you can book a WOW Plus fare at the time of booking that will include a carry-on bag, checked bag, and assigned seat.
You will have to make separate bookings if you want some passengers to be on a regular fare and some passengers to be on a Wow Plus fare.
-1 personal item smaller than 17 x 13 x 10in is included for free on all fares. That means a bag like this one or like this one can be worth buying to have a free personal item.

do they accommodate baby’s. how much extra do you pay for a stroller
Stroller is free.
You can book lap children on their website, but at these prices you should just book your baby as a 2 year old and buy them a seat.
It’s much safer and they can sleep in their carseat instead of having to be held in your arms for the whole flight.

Barely any of the EWR-TLV seats are left at that price range and it’s actually over $500 with baggage.
I posted many valid EWR-TLV dates.
You don’t need to buy baggage for everyone. You can also bring the carry-on bag described in the post for free.

Booked a ticket for my daughter. She is leaving Israel on a Thursday and has a 2 hour 2 min stopover in Iceland. I read some horror stories about Wow being late. If she misses her connection, I assume she will be stuck in Iceland for Shabbos. Is that too risky?
I have heard stories that WOW will randomly cancel flights jiust to get you to stay and tour Iceland. Is there any validity to this,or are there just weather related cancellations?
