In February, the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego had a price mistake where all of their rooms, including the presidential and penthouse suite with club access, were priced at just $171 for stays from November 2017-March 2018.
There was no communication from the hotel, but several commenters have stayed in the presidential and penthouse suites and received club access without issue.
In September, the Grand Hyatt New York allowed members to redeem 12.5K points+$125 for a Grand Executive Suite with club access. Normally that cash+points redemption is only valid for base rooms.
There was no communication from the hotel, but commenters have stayed there as well with that rate.
Last month, the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos all-inclusive hotel had a price mistake where all of their rooms, including the Ocean Front 2 Bedroom Grand Master Suite with 2.5 bathrooms, 2,335 square feet of space, and club access, were priced at just $291 for stays from April-June 2018.
The General Manager there sent out emails confirming that they will honor the rate,
“Thank you for making your reservation at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.
We recently experienced a system error that resulted in the display of incorrect room rates at our hotel. This was our mistake, and we have addressed it.
While the Hyatt.com terms and conditions permit the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos to cancel reservations in this situation, the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos has decided to honor the rate, date(s) and name(s) for which your reservation was originally booked*. We look forward to welcoming you to our Los Cabos resort, but please do note that any change to the date(s) or name(s) on your reservation will affect the rate.
Additionally, we would like to share with you the exciting news that whale watching season has commenced in beautiful Los Cabos. We encourage all of our valued guests to witness this natural spectacle from our oceanfront restaurants, the binoculars in our lobby, or even from the guestroom balconies , April is probably the last month for seeing these magnificent animals until it all starts again in the fall.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and we look forward to welcoming you to the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos!
Best regards,
FRANCISCO J. SILVA MEANA

Yes, tonight at the Grand Hyatt San diego
Enjoy!
My Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos reservation made through Booking.com was canceled. They first contacted me acknowledging their mistake and offered to keep the reservation but for about $200 or so more. I never responded to them in time and then they just canceled it.
I only posted the direct link in the post. Why did you book it there?
I think because the website just never loaded for me.
Stayed at the San Diego property a couple weeks ago – it was awesome! Thanks Dan!
Nice, YW!
I stayed at the GH San Diego over Thanksgiving and had no issues with them honoring the rate.
Awesome!
Got one in NYC in Jan.
we made a los cabos reservation… and my wife is falling for you dan….
booked my 10 year anniversary for a shabbos in NYC
Have booking in NYC in January. Still debating whether it’s worth it. Some feedback would be greatly appreciated
San Diego first week of Jan. Anyone else??
I booked Cabo via Booking.com. They send me numerous emails asking me to pay $4000 more or cancel for free. I told them that my reservation came with free cancellation already, but if they are willing to cover my $1500 in non-refundable airfare, I would consider it. They kept emailing me cancellation threats and I kept calling them on their BS. Reservation is intact, but I never received an email from the GM
Why didn’t you book on Hyatt.com?
I should have. I have no intelligent defense for my deplorable behavior. But, my experience once again confirms what a crappy OTA booking.com is.
We have 2 or 3 nights booked in NYC in April during C’H. The lounge looks lovely — an outdoor terrace! — though of course we know there won’t be any consumables for us.
I booked via booking.com as well (trivago.com actually) as the Hyatt website was crashing and not loading rates at the time. I too have received “meet us half way” emails. I actually notified them yesterday of the email from the GM as notice that Hyatt is formally and publicly honoring the rate. They asked if I could forward them the email from the GM (which I cannot do as I suspect the GM email only went to those who booked directly at Hyatt.com).
That said, how I/others get a hold of an actual email which can then be forwarded as proof?
Dan, is there a place to see if your reservation does have club access for the San Diego Manchester hotel?
Can anyone else confirm these emails? I’ve sent PMs in the forum as well as on FlyerT and even others have sent me PMs asking if I’ve received proof of these emails from Hyatt.
Anyone? Do we have multiple data points to co firm these emails?
