Power option is Only C Wire
National Grid customers can get this for free after applying for the rebate here – https://goo.gl/WQ9E2d or ConEd customers save $25 here – https://goo.gl/NNQuMY
Is the link safe? When I click your first link it takes me to another link of the rebate site. Then, a window pops open saying “The rebate application website you have entered is independently operated and maintained by a third party vendor selected by National Grid. Out of stock online and in-stores.
Any way to get Home Depot to honor sale price if it ever comes back into stock?
Mind the “C” wire issue for power. If you don’t have a C wire, you can get the Emerson Sensi T55, which is battery powered. It’s a few dollars more, though well worth it. Most Utilities also will offer a rebate on the Sensi. In the long run (or short) you’ll save lots on the ability to manage your device remotely.

WHY?
it seems to be $149 now

Utility rebate usually requires you to agree that they can change your settings under certain conditions. No big deal, just FYI
Isn’t this $44 on Amazon?
