Can Someone Elaborate On This. I Would Like To Do This Cuz It Sounds Good. Just I Have No Clue Wat It Is Or/And How It Works. Thanx
will it only work in NYC or other zupcar area?
@Yitzi: Zipcar is very confusing cause its a bit gimmiky
i just bought this, i think its a good deal, actually bought 2 by accident.
they have daily & hourly rates, including insurance and gas. its not amazing rates but not bad, as long as you dont do anything wrong they wont charge u massive fees.
normally theres an annual fee, plus an “application fee”
this offer waives the both of those fees, plus you get $30 of driving credit to use in the first 2 months following your sign up
so essentially your getting a free year membership, so long as u use the $30 credit u get (if thats too hard for u maybe u dont need zipcar)
and Dan, couldnt figure out – when do i need to sign up with zipcar by after i buy this?
Why does it say in the fine print it expires feb 27 2011? isnt that in a month?
its $77 a day starting for the cheapest car huge rip off
lakewood needs one
I use them all the time. Its great if you are very, very disciplined person, do short, in time, trips and live very close to few zip car bases. They charge $7 per hour incl gas for up to 150 miles. If you need to go, lets say, somewhere 70 miles away, and stay there just 1 hour, you might pay like $25 incl. gas. Consider it free rental. However, late fees are terrible. 1 minute delay in returning car will get you $50 fee (no grace period)
is this still on??
