A source from inside united revealed today that yesterday’s $109 round-trip fare was indeed a pricing mistake.
It was in response to Southwest’s $109 transcontinental one-way fare sale, however when United entered the $109 fare match into the system it was entered as a round-trip fare instead of one-way.
However all tickets booked are being honored…
