I got the 5 for buying $100. (the 10 for 50 would have been nicer but not eligible)
Used Amex Blue Cash so should be getting $10 or $11 back from amex and $100 closer towards sign up bonus.

Received the $10 a few days after purchasing the $50 gift card.
So does this mean Discover It card holders can use the quarterly 5% cash back to purchase this? This is the last quarter for me to get it doubled so this could be a keeper.
