Probably wouldn't be automatic, but manually? I'd bet yes.

EDIT: May have spoken too soon - this charge is coming from Groupon... I was thinking of another promo from Delta themselves.

My bet is still yes, but it's definitely riskier.

i called a clueless amex supervisor and was told club access is not an eligible purchase. When I called him off on his dumb error he informed me that 3rd party transactions would not work But I dont believe him the slightest. Im sure they would manually remove it. just dont take my word for it.
