This is the most I've ever seen for a phone bill.

Back on the day the Nextel bill for my father's office was $80k+. The bill was about an inch thick.

The bill was reduced to $2500.00 and she was given 6 months to pay.

Pretty nice of T-Mobile.

They are probably suffering a loss since they have to pay the Canadians (or not).

What I wonder is if its a pure PR move why didn't the just cancel the bill out... whats 2,500 out of 200,000?

They probably don't want people to do the same thing and excpect T-Mobile to let them off for free...

it was in the contract that she would be charged roaming and she was why does she deserve a break if it was her fault that the bill was so much

No one necessarily said she DESERVED one... but I'd want one if it happened to me by accident.

If they had made her par the bill they never would have seen any of it now they got something

the real question is why the media got involved and reported on it on tv. why is this a story? so she got a big bill after she used her phone in roaming they should have said sorry but thats not news

Really? Considering they'd report on a kitty stuck in a tree, I'd say you must not watch the news very often.
