During a routine check on the health of our AAdvantage eShopping(SM)
mall, we noticed that you previously returned a large number of mileage
earning purchases made through this program. We truly hope that this is
not indicative of the functionality of our product, and we wanted to
ensure that all is well. Your feedback on the usability of the
AAdvantage eShopping mall is welcomed and appreciated.
As part of our reconciliation process, we also noticed that your usable
AAdvantage® miles were correctly adjusted at the time of the return, but
your program-to-date miles continued to carry the balance earned by the
merchandise that was returned. We have since adjusted your
program-to-date miles to properly reflect what you have earned. Rest
assured that both your usable miles and your program-to-date miles are
now accurately reflected in your AAdvantage account.
Due to this adjustment, the 1 Million Miler status and accompanying
benefits have also been removed, as your current program-to-date mileage
balance no longer qualifies.
