How Can I Use My Miles To Get To Israel?

can you help me out?
i have 242,000 delta miles
45,000 starwoods
98,000 AA
45,000 continental.
i want to get to israel for the summer with my wife and 1 yr old kid (i thought i can  go with delta but i checked and they want 130,000 each ticket... any suggestions????)

What airports can you leave from? how flexible are your dates? How much are regular fare$ tix for the dates you want to go?

That will only get him 153K AA points not enough for 2 tix on ELAL (180K) even if they did have availability.

to Mikeoracle: i am very flexible any time this summer (except 3 weeks) for as little as 2 weeks to as much as 5. i am from NY. tickets to israel this summer i heard are around 1200-14-- but i am cash strapped :)

I understand your situation but there is no way you can do it with the points you have. The alternative to the above is to swap some of your continental miles for *points so you have enough to transfer into AA to get the tickets.

Delta miles are worthless.
But seems like make sense to just transfer 20K SPG into Delta to book the 2 tickets.  Did you search how much Delta business tickets are?

i found roundtrip delta flight to and from moscow for 60,000 each...anyone know how i can book from SVO (russia) to TLV ??? which airlines fly for reward tickets ??

There is alot of info on this forum and numerous knowledgeable members who are willing to help. However you can't expect to post " I have xxx get me from A to B" and someone to spoon feed you everything.
A great way to start is to search the forums and then if you still need help post your question.
