For a limited time only for US customers, Google is offering a 4 month free trial to its Google Play Music subscription which includes YouTube Red. The offer is valid for first time subscribers only. With this offer you’ll get a 123 day free trial instead of the regular 30 day free trial.
A $9.99 monthly fee applies after the 4 month trial and you can cancel at anytime. Google will email you before your trial is over.
You should not take advantage of this offer if you are buying a Google Home Smart Assistant as that comes with a 6 month trial membership for new subscribers.
Google Play Music allows you to upload your music to the cloud. The subscription allows for ad-free streaming of tens of millions of songs, including Jewish music. You can also download music to play it offline.
YouTube Red is included in a Google Play Music subscription and normally costs $9.99 per month.
It includes ad-free video, the ability to save videos to watch offline, the ability to play music from videos in the background of your phone without Youtube being on the screen, and more.

My wife’s six month at half off subscription ended yesterday. I was able to subscribe to this on her main account (she was using a secondary account before) I wonder if they will close all of our Google accounts for this. I have had the free trial on at least 4 different accounts now. Though I have paid for the service a couple times. Youtube red is a great service you never have to worry about ads and you can easily download videos to watch later.
In the post it says 123 instead of 120 :).
@Reuben:
It was 123 days when I took advantage of this offer last time.
Has it changed?
Am I able to cancel membership renewal that I won’t be charged at the end of 4 months, but still keep the trial?
You can upload you personal music to Google Play Music even if you don’t have a subscription (paid or trial) with them. I have T-Mobile so I get data free streaming of my Google Play music.
@Dan: just subscribed and it says next bill date is 3/23/17
@Saul: yes
yes
I have a 3 Month Subscription that is expiring end of November and I will continue using it. I feel its worth for the YouTube Red subscription alone, the music is just a bonus. I can’t see myself having to see ads ever again before (middle and end of) a Youtube clip.
If anyone wants to transfer their playlists from Spotify, here’s a link that you can download an app that takes care of it: https://github.com/jordam/ezportify
@anonymous @tuli If I go ahead and cancel subscription will it keep my 4 months trial, or instantly stop my subscription?
@Saul: It will not cancel the trial.
Just for the record, google did not email be before the end of the trial.
The credit card I originally used expired though 🙂
