Update, 6/20: This sale is now open to all members!
Originally posted on 6/17:

I’ll bump this post when the sale is open to the general public.
Not the most exciting sale as it’s only valid on United and only in coach, but this might be useful for some.
If you see dates showing 22.5K in coach, then you’ve found saver award space.
-You can book a round-trip or an open jaw with the discounted rates.
Examples of an “open jaw” include a flight from Newark to London on 9/11 and then back from Amsterdam to Newark on 9/18 is 45,000 miles plus $49 tax.
A flight from Los Angeles to London on 01/25 and then back from Zurich to Newark on 02/08 is 45,000 miles plus $59 tax.
You can still use 4,500 BA Avios for a one-way flight in Europe.
Rules:
-Round-trip travel is required.
-Book by 6/28.
-Travel 8/23/16-3/31/17
-Blackout dates: 12/15/16-1/8/17.
-Discounted Saver Award is valid only for travel between the U.S. (excluding Hawaii) or Canada, and Europe.
-Valid only on United, not on partner airlines.
-Valid for travel to/from the US48, Alaska and Canada to/from Europe.
-Valid for coach saver awards only.
-Stopovers are not permitted.
If you have 1 segment that falls within the promo dates it will be discounted, even if the outbound or return segment doesn’t fall within the promo window.

If previous travel was booked at 30k per leg, would a person be able to “match” to the 22.5k fare?
I am trying to book flights to Europe within the window but so far it’s 30K miles each way. Should I wait? When this sale will be open to general public?
@Ayman:
Call and see.
Or try to make a change online.
@Simone:
Do you have a United credit card and are you logged into that account?
Is this for all of Europe? DEN-SOF is showing as 30k per leg.
How can I find United flights. It looks like only partners flights are available.
@Mark:
Only United operated flights.
@Simone:
You can select United only under advance search.
can this be hacked for a cheap ticket to israel?
I have a Chase Bank United card and I don’t find a link from that to UAL. How do I log in? I’m just finding 30K flights (although I’m surprised how many dates are open). I’m logged in to my UAL account, presumably they know I have the card?
Which destinations would work w
Ba avios from TLV?
Any way to get to howaii?
Would stop over permitted?
Last I checked reps said no longer available
Didn’t show up even though I have the United card. They said it is ONLY for those who have received an email from United and has to be booked through a link in that email.
How can I do Dus – San, NYC- MXP?
Possible?
Can you add on an addition leg i.e.:
EWR – CDG
CDG – EWR and then 5 months later:
EWR – MIA
If so, how do you go about doing that? Also can you did it if you do an open jaw also? For example:
EWR – LHR
CDG – EWR and then 5 months later:
EWR – MIA
Thank you Dan!
Not all dates with saver awards are enrolled in this, yes, in the bracket of the post.
@tassojunior:
It is now available to everyone signing in with their UA account.
Can’t get the open-jaw to work though with a discount.
Whats the cancelation policy? I am booking now for January. Can i cancel out if i decide not to use the ticket? will i get reimbursed for A. mileage b.fees?
Thanks
I just booked Paris for Valentines Day for me and my wife and they Hyatt Vendome using points. So 4 days in Paris at the best hotel for $167! Thank you so much!!!
cant seem to get the promotional 22.5k for the 1st flight even through the return flight is within the promotional dates. any insight?
Dan-
After reading through your Trip Notes from the past year its seems like you’re really a fan on United. If I have like 45,000 British Avios, what are they worth, is it worth it to hold on to them, should I try trading them?
@SW: to change costs $100, to cancel and refund miles $200
What is the most cost efficient way for me to end up in israel while using this deal to book the europe leg of the trip?
Is there any airlines that i can get tickets to BRU from NY any dates sooner the the end of aug. For 45000 points or 60k direct … i have membership rewards and spg point thanks
@Dan: yes
