My united miles are about to expire, would this help to prolong that from happening? Additionally, if they do not post in time, is it retroactive from the date I signed up?

I understant that my question was already touched upon in the OP, but I am asking what date do the miles get posted. Retroactively – then I can reinstate my miles at the time of posting or is from whatever date – and then my miles are lost…
Do you have to be an existing United mileage member for this promotion?
I am guessing the amount spent at the restaurant is irrelevant. Does that mean I can make 5 separate purchases in a participating restaurant and get 2500 miles?
Also, how do I identify a participating restaurant?

Can I register 2 people’s mileage plus accounts with the same credit card? One is the cardholder and the other is an authorized user.

I’ll take the 1k sign up bonus, but if you use the front page sera and refine list by cuisine, you’ll find the only 2 kosher restaurants in NYC that are participating are the two Ben’s delis. Not really an option for many of us. Only the cafe on pico on LA. Nothing in Miami that I found.
