If you DONT have an android device (It will say get started on the link above)
Download bluestacks from bluestacks.com. Install the Amazon app from the play store in bluestacks (The regular amazon app) Open it, sign in and then follow the above instructions!

No need to install the amazon appstore/underground/etc – just need to install the regular amazon app on an android device to get access.

@Igal: You don’t have to actual download the app. I just “purchased” the $0 app on comp and got the $5 credit. (I do have the regular Amazon shopping app on my phone so you may need to have you account linked to the Amazon app on an Android or Kindle for this deal to work). APC gave a good workaround if you don’t have a Amazon or Kindle device!

It could be that you need to sign in to your Amazon account from the Amazon app on iPhone to be able to buy online…

I do not have a BUY button for the apps, just a GET THIS APP button, wick I selected on two apps. Where do I see the $5 credit?

Thanks Dan. The 1st app didn’t work proper (gave me the Kindle app but w/ a $3 credit for eBooks). Tried doing it w/out the app and it didn’t work. Reloaded the app, bought Sonic and got both the $5 & $1 promos.

two questions – how do you tell if the credit was added to your amazon acct? also, I do not see the BUY button, I only see a GET YOUR APP button. I got two appls this way, but I do not see any credit on my amazon acct

I don’t know if it’s the app but ever since I downloaded this onto my Galaxy S5 I’ve been having problems with it and with Chrome. Could just be me. Not sure.
