Great post, question I’m not sure exact number I had but on the transfer from US miles to AA miles I seemed to have lost quite a bit, were the miles devalued? I lost like 20% +-

Thanks! I completed the whole thing and went back to the start to do it again for a family member’s account. I got through the 1st video and question and then it jumped to the final registration page. I’m not sure whether it will go through.

How do they know who I am. I’m not logged in and they don’t ask for the FFN unless you register for the grand prize.

@don joe: That happened to me when I was in chrome. Then I switched browsers (IE) and it went fine.

@don joe, you’re probably using a filter like K9 or Jnet which doesn’t let you view YouTube pages. Had same issue until I figured this out, will have to pass on those miles…

Help! Citi Aadvantage American Airlines Gold credit card, where/how do I have my AAdvantage membership number?

First, does anyone know from the fine print if this “earning” will reset the expiration date of my miles? (I would hope so, since it’s an “earning event”).

Second, and I hope this works, if you have more than one membership in the family, it appears you can back up the browser window after entering your info, and then re-enter the other family members’ info, then click through to register the account. If it works, it’ll save time rep-doing all the video watching again and again. 🙂

if you need to do multiple accounts- just switch browsers.

re: multiple accounts: after I answered the q’s once, and entered the raffle info aa# etc, i just hit the back button and filled the form out again. i got email’s confirming all 5 accts (the emails had each acct holder’s first name).

I filled this out about 5 weeks ago, unfortunately I was not credited yet so my miles expired 🙁

DoC seems to provide recent multiple reports of chase denying applications for too many opened accounts. These reports are consistent(5 or more opened accounts in last 2 years) and not coming from beginners in my estimation. It appears Chase recon is citing this new policy to multiple people. Does this not signal a significant shift??

I recently ran into that issue with Chase. I spent a long time on the phone to them and a long time reviewing DDF. At the time I did not see any way forward. It seemed liked there was no way to get the new “too many accounts opened in the last 2 years” rule waived.
Are you suggesting that this is not the case? It is very important because besides the 40K sign up bonus for the SP card, it also means that as of now I have no way of transferring my UR points to airlines 🙁
