Just so you know kosher taco does not have everything you see on their menu anymore
you basically get what you pay maybe an extra fries
Waste of money. I’ve bought this last time for $24 and when came there they have limited me w what I can take and bottom line what they have offered me under this coupon would of costed me $22 ($2 cheaper than what I paid for voucher ) so I wonder where is the deal here, also food was horrible, burger was spoiled when I tried to change it for something else manager refused to do it claiming I am trying to get free food.
Overall horrible exp.. Wouldn’t advice anyone to buy this coupon
store menu shows full price for platter + 2 sides is 15.99
so 2 is 32
not such a big savings to prepay and hope to redeem.
its sold out!
i guess me and my chaverim will have to go to Glatt Bite!
no HT?

Don’t know if it’s a good deal or not but I was very happy with the food when I went there. Try the pastrami sliders
Something strange happened at Taco.
Their portions have shrunk and their prices are still the same! Many sandwiches – medium and large – are no longer even offered.
It’s not right to sell hundreds of Groupons for $24 and claim it can get you $51.96 of value, and then make the portions smaller, less choice, yet same prices!
Taco themselves realize that a Groupon for $24 would no longer be fair, hence this one is selling for $19.20.
However, many of us have not yet redeemed our old Groupon and feel gypped.
Many of us would never have bought the Groupon had we known they were downsizing the portions so dramatically.
Maybe someone reading this knows someone over at Taco and can get an explanation.
I apologize if I’m somehow making a mistake.
But Taco really should explain themselves.
Thanks Dan! they have a really good cuisine at kosher taco-one of the better establishments in town.
I’ve been there quite recently and actually commented how nicely portioned their food was. (Non-groupon meal!) Food was delicious and fresh!

Couldn’t agree any more!
“Dishonest” would be a compliment, “stealing” would be more like it.
They write “up to $51.96 value”, That’s a flat out lie. The only way to get to $51.96 on their menu is by ordering the 2 most expensive mains and sides. Those are not for sale anymore, they only sell items much cheaper. So basically, they tally up the 51.96 on an old menu that isn’t current anymore. The amount with the new menu would be significantly less.
#dishonest #lying #stealing.
Dan/JJ: Please stop posting deals for kosher taco anymore. they aren’t deals. (unless they are sponsored…)
Can we cancel the groupons since they changed their menu and its not true you can get $52 worth of food? I actually bought when I tried to redeem one with a bad experience don’t even want to go back with the second would rather go somewhere else for that price.
Can someone from kosher taco please reply to these complaints?
@Chaim: Chaim I’m in with you we deserve an explanation!
@Eli: I don’t think they have an explanation so they decide to hide…
I would go to Carlos and gabbies place rocks!!!!
The only take out in Lakewood that is worth going to is Glatt Bite. Although kosher taco is a pretty cool looking store the food is amateur and is hardly ever edible. Their customer service and the overall experience is nothing more than horrible. A dollar spent is a dollar wasted at kosher taco.
Oh no!!!!!!i bought this deal!!!!!!!!!!how do I cancel???
Pretty sure Groupon gives you 3 days to cancel your order @Mendy:
Hello everyone. I am the owner of kt. Our food and service is the most important to us. For those that felt they were ripped off or didnt get the service they require by us, email me and we will fix the Issue.
Let me explain the way it works. The value OF UP TO MEAMS up to that total. we have also just came out with a new menu. A lot of our prices went down… sandwiches, wraps and salads all were all lowered. So yes the deal is harder to get to the total of $52. Again anyone who feels they were ripped off can email me personally, thekoshertaco@gmail.com
@Shai Viron:
“For those that felt they were ripped off”
Do you not?
“So yes the deal is harder to get to the total of $52”
“Harder” but possible? Why don’t you tell us how!
I see the deal is still listed as 51.96 on groupon. By when do you expect to have it changed?
to all u guys complaining about this deal i hope u are being fair, cause i just canceled my groupon from there…..
Dear Shai Viron,
Thank you for your response.
My family are frequent customers of yours and we were always very happy with the food, portion size and service. Frankly, it was our favorite eatery.
However, currently we are extremely disappointed.
1 – Selling hundreds of Groupons for a value of $51.96, and then making the portions considerably smaller, removing medium and large sandwiches from the menu, and most off all – NO LONGER OFFERING $51.96 of value is against Halacha, illegal and unethical.
2 – Selling Groupons YESTERDAY advertised as $51.96 value WHILE LINKING TO YOUR OLD – OBSOLETE – MENU, yet you already CHANGED the menu, and the new menu NO LONGER OFFERS ANYTHING UP TO $51.96 of value is a blatant and shocking act of fraud!!
3 – You say some prices have been lowered like on sandwiches, however, we were just in the shop and not only are those sandwiches smaller, you simply no longer offer medium and large sandwiches AT ALL.
In short, you committed fraud by changing the menu after selling all those Groupons and yesterday’s Groupon were OUTRIGHT fraud.
Please fix these issues and allow Taco to return to the great place it used to be.
I emailed kosher taco like the owner asked and my response was
“For reimbursement Please contact groupon, they sold you the coupon”
No apology no explanation nothing after trying to look good and saying we should email them
I sure will contact groupon and I will make sure never to buy at kosher taco
I hate dishonesty ! This groupon is my first experience having bought dozens of groupons of being totally ripped off. Shame on the owner- its a Jewish establishment
