Please note that almost every suit by hickey freeman has shatnez. Not a lot though and the shatnez center can take it out.
Link is to old sale, so try your luck. I was able to add suit to cart, but when I went back, it said page is “old”.
Hickey is 70/30 or 60/40 – if you’re looking for a 100% wool suit, keep an eye out for list of suit material.
Just as a heads up- Hickey Freeman suits are notorious for shatnez

Woohoo!! Thank you Dan! even if in this crazy winter storm it felt good to get a Hickey freeman suit for Pesach for $260 total (including NYC tax 🙂 that normally retails for over $1,000. Buyers Beware not all suits are 100% wool. Read the descriptions carefully

Shatnez usually costs additional to remove it and the you want to get a good tailor who knows what hes doing to put in a new collar. The tailor part is probably no more than 30-40.
@mahyar: So what? Just get it taken out. Not a big deal.
@anonymous- it is a big deal and can add significant costs depending on where they find the shatnez.
@mahyar: It’s only the collar for these suits so it’s not.

Was more than just the collar. Pants lining too under the belt loops. Cost over $100 to fix with the special top stitching needed

I had shatnez removed from a Hugo Boss suit. I think it was just the collar, and I think it cost around $55.
It seems like they only have a few sizes?

Agrees with the shatnez call I am 3 for 3. Shatnez all of the, add on cost of removal, add on cost of tailor to repair damage. Just saying

These are not the real Hickey Freeman suits. The real ones are made in the USA. These are made in China.

I BOUGHT ONE OF THE HICKEY SUITS TOTAL FOR SHATNEZ REMOVAL AND TOP NOTCH TAILORING WAS $50
I ordered 3 suits and they were a size too big. Thanks to Dan I got back to the sale through your link. I called because I got the 20% off and wanted when I reordered the smaller size. They applied 2 $60 promotions to my account and since only one suit was left in the size I needed it applied both promotions to one suit!!! so I got it for $179!! Thanks
