You can get some if not all of these deals by logging into your Amex account and looking under the “Your Offers” tab and then simply click “Save offer” for the offer(s) you want to save to your card. I fine it much easier than using twitter and there’s no need to sign up for twitter if you don’t have/want it.
Except on Twitter you can register multiple cards and AUs.
@Dan: AUs can also sign up for americanexpress.com and save offers. I suppose twitter comes in handy if saving the offer for one card causes it to no longer be available on another card.
@David R:
That’s what I just said 😀
if my one card is synced for the offers, and than i unsync and resync to another card/tweet the offers again, the offers remain on both accounts?
in my offers the BP was only on the goldcard and exxon only on SPG
I want to apply for an Amex card, however when I called Amex they offered me the Amex blue card. I don’t see any post on your website in regards to that card.
tx for you time.
ALL these offers show on my amex delta gold.
ALL.
btw, fedex offer DOES NOT include shipping. its for shipping supplies in store.
Thanks Dan for putting the list together!
#amexwestelm for $30 off $150 at west elm
#amexmaggianos $15 off $50
#amexpfchangs $10 off $40
I checked Amex website and ruelala wasn’t on it
There’s also an #AmexAMC deal. “Receive a one-time $5 statement credit when you spend a total of $20 or more in-theatre at AMC by 12/31/13.” And $20 in NYC is basically 1 ticket these days!
So a $5 credit for bp purchases … but when I checked the locator, the only bp stations within 20 miles (i’m in Los Angeles) are ARCO stations. And I’ve yet to find an ARCO that takes American Express. Hmmm ….
I registered my SPG Amex from the BP deal via Twitter as well as by signing in to my amex online.
Today at the pump, I was on empty, so I filled up $25 and then did a second transaction for another $25+. I received one email thanking me for participating in the offer.
Will I get a credit for each time?
Dan, thanks for your service. if i have the best buy offer and i saved it is that a one time thing, or when i spend an additional $250 i will get another $25 off.
next question, do u think i will be able to get the wal mart and staples offer backdated, i spend by both stores tonight a nice amount
I would like to stock up on Costco Giftcards but this year is significantly less than last year (spend $100 get $25) any chances we will get an offer like that or is this the best we are gonna get…….
@Yaks:
No.
I was also wondering about the back dating – I just spent $50 at Kohls a few days ago. Any chance that purchase will qualify or is it from the time you register for the offer?
Does single purchase mean on one item or one transaction? For example I I buy two pairs of shoes totalling $140 from zappos ($70 each), will it still qualify if offer is for $30 a single purchase of $130. thx
@Nikki:
No.
@sesmo:
Transaction.
Anyone do the math to see what the cut-off price is for a better deal with Kohl’s? I’m talking about 5% cash back with Chase Freedom vs. $10 off $50 using Amex. You have to spend around $64 with the 20% off coupon to have a $50 Charge (and I assume Kohl’s Cash is excluded from the total)
A rough estimate is anything above $200 is better utilized with the Chase Freedom 5% cash back, and 64-200 is the Amex offer.
@Nikki
Easier to do a return then rebuy
What are your thoughts about next year? (Trying to figure out how many to buy….) any chance of them going back to the old offer or do all these offers get progressively less over time? (Like SBS)?
@Nathan:
Chase points are worth far more than 1 cent a piece.
Criminal to just get cash back.
@Yaks:
It’s a holiday offer.
I know. That wasn’t my question, Amex will prob doing it again in dec 2014 as a holiday offer and what I’m trying to figure out is if these Amex offers all tend to get less over time, as we have seen with SBS or is there still a chance that in a year from now there will be the older more generous offer (of $25 off $100)?
When you swipe a card one date (Nov. 30 – SBS), but the transaction date shows Dec 1 on Amex account, will i not get the $10 credit?
lowes is back as well.
When you add your card with offers for you are you supposed to receive a email confirmation?
is the bp offer just for gas? or can you get bp cards for future gas?
no lowes for me, gold card
#AmexLandsEnd is dead
can u buy a $115 gift card on costco.com or does it only come in the denominations i saw of $100 and then it jumps to $200
With one Amex card,
I can sync it with Kohls, Costco, and Best Buy all at once, right?
(No need to sync and unsync – correct?)
@Sara – seeing the same thing
I’d say buy 1 $100 GC and 1 $25 GC. So you’ll get $125 in Costco GCs for $110.
@Harris:
thanks!
@Dan: Dan, I logged in first on primary user’s American Express account and saved offers to the card, then logged in to secondary user’s American Express account (each user will need to have his/her own account) and was able to save the offers there as well. (I even registered the synced card for the Costco offer via Twitter and the secondary card for the same offer on the AmEx site.) Eliminates the hassle of syncing and unsyncing and resyncing through Twitter just to register for the deals. I guess the same thing could be accomplished by having multiple Twitter accounts, one for each card. But for those of us who prefer to limit our presence on social media, saving offers on the American Express account site seems like a viable and easy alternative.
Dan, If I want to buy an Ipad Air what is my best option, considering staples is out of stock. I know I can get $25 off at bestbuy, but where can I buy bestbuy gift cards the cheapest? Thanks
I have 3 amex business cards, each with additional users and not one card got the AT&T offer. Tried Chatting with amex was told offer is solicited. Any way of getting this offer?
