Several people have been telling me to post the current deals to Israel. I posted these deals when they came out 2 weeks ago and they’re still going strong for travel on select dates between November 2013 and March 2014.
Read about using ITA Software here as that can really make it easy to find cheap dates if you’re flexible.

are any of these reversible to fly from tel aviv to nyc?
I have tried this a few times & cannot get the lower fares, I tried Newark to Tel Aviv, back to Newark & then to Chicago & the fares are still close to $1,200, not sure what I am doing wrong, if you can please advise.. thank you
@my08701:
You need to search EWR-TLV and then TLV-ORD just as it says in that post.
thanks for the response, but where do you enter that the system understands you are stopping in Newark? shouldn’t TLV-ORD take you straight to ORD?
@my08701:
There are no nonstops TLV-ORD.
If you’re on United it will stop in Newark.
I didn’t realize that, I must have heard you say that by the seminar but it didn’t register. go direct & with United they always stop in Newark, correct?
It isn’t working, they are stopovers on the way to TLV in Europe… not looking to stop over in Europe…
Got 9 tickets DCA to TLV. AC to Tel Aviv, UA to EWR on return. Book on Orbitz as neither UA nor AC show the combo. Pay a small fee to Orbitz to use two airlines but well worth it. Best of all get UA or USAir miles! Yea Dansdeals!
@my08701:
Did you try my sample dates?
@JDM:
Well done!
are there any deals from tel aviv to chicago or new york?
I second adina’s question above: anything good for those of us originating in TLV???
wow you are amazing, I just tried it, problem is that I cannot leave my kids home for Chanukah while I go with my wife to the holy land.. I tried a half a dozen other dates in Oct & Nov & none worked
@my08701:
I wrote the trick to finding other dates in that article.
You’ll have a much easier time finding dates in Jan/Feb.
why is that, is it because it is further in time, or Oct Nov is harder to get tickets in general?
I don’t fit in regular coach seats ( 6’9″). Anyone have ideas on the cheapest way to fly to TLV in either Business or Premium Coach?
hey dan any info on tickets to Israel this summer august time my family has a wedding and we need like 12 tickets
thanks
@my08701:
The sale doesn’t start until November for starters.
@Boomie:
Just upgrade to economy plus after buying the ticket.
