You may find some Alitalia coded Delta flights to Venice though.

I tried a hundred times Dec 25-Jan 8 flexible +/- a few days. No luck! (I even tried Dan’s dates just to make sure it wasn’t the dates that I requested that made the code invalid.) Any help you can offer?

The E-Coupon is supposed to be an alpha-numeric code according to Alitalia Japan. Can we try again with the right code? Also Madrid wasn’t an option when choosing airports in Italy. I had to fly into Milan or Rome among many other avails. How do you book a ticket with lay-overs? I found it difficult to maneuver the website. Think we missed out on the deal again.

FOLLOW UP: Was able to book on the Italian site They gave me a reservation booking number which they will hold for 24 hrs. But they were unable to process the payment. I have to call
0665640. I guess that’s an Italy number. Would anyone know the country code and city code? could I call an Alitalia office in America?

I am looking fo flt from nyc to tlv with stop in London. I cld tak rt from madrid to mancheste seperate. dates 1/16/13-1/3/13. Is this wih 25%?it doesnt work…

I got the same message as Sara saying I have a reservation but they could not process the payment but then got an email from Alitalia confirming my tickets and payment. I checked my credit card and the payment went through.
I called the American customer service number just to verify and they confirmed that all was well.
So before anybody double books – check to make sure that the payment did not go through.

I spoke to the airline’s customer service this afternoon and was told that lots of people are experiencing difficulty buying tickets through the US website but the 25% off deal was still available at the time. I personally got the same message as Sara multiple times but after about 6 attempts I did get my ticket booked through the SPECIAL promo. $763 when I bought a ticket at 6:30 this evening. If you really want to buy tickets at this price, just keep on trying and IYH you will eventually succeed.

UPDATE:
I called the Alitalia tel. no. 800-223-5730.
It seems to have people to talk to at any time. I gave them my reservation code and wanted to pay with Sapphire VISA. they told me it was already charged to Amex. (which is good for 2x points, but I didn’t want to pay the conversion fee from Euros, since my booking was done on the Italian site.)
So they told me to book again using the VISA and then call them to cancel the earlier one, and thnakfully B”H it worked.
1701 Euros for 3 passengers @ about $1.30 per Euro = $737 per ticket.

Alitalia is running a special FROM TLV to NYC and other NA destinations like Bos for $799 BUT you can also add the coupon “special” and get another 25% off. I just bought a ticket for $598.50 after the discount from TLV-NYC-TLV Dec13-Jan13
