Then added a USA address and requested a card to it.

Still worked for me now, Friday morning!

Just tried it, used the generic 6 digits entered my HH logon info and done. I have a question with 4 stays, I am planning 2 stays of 2 nights each, Should I book one night and then rebook after the first night for each of my stays so that it seems like it was 4 stays?

How do you Status match?

Just wanted to comment that Hyatt Diamond status is the equivalent of Hilton Diamond status, not Gold, so I don’t think you’d be able to status match to Hyatt that way. If anything, they’d just give you Hyatt Platinum status, which normally requires 5 stays or 15 nights to attain.

I called to get status match and the only thing they offered was a trial for 60 days and to keep it I would have to stay 15 nights. Is there a way to get matched for a year?

They stopped doing full year matches.
However the 60 day match is long enough to get the 4 free suite upgrades and to apply for the Hyatt Visa card and get 2 free nights in a suite at any Hyatt in the world.

I applied for a status match in the first week of August and they gave me 90 days to complete the offer.

Just did it. Worked.

No clue yet how any of this status match stuff works and if this is even worth anything to me…

How i ask Hayatt to enroll me in their Diamond program?

I have Gold Status with BestWestern, i stay about twice a week on a Ramada & 4 times a month in a BestWestern. its better to get their points, the Hayatt or Hilton? ( i dont have any of their CC)

The 40,000 pts will only post if you use a Visa Infinte card for the 4 stays. Hyatt and Starwood has gotten very strict on the status matches, they pretty much want some indication that you are going to be a continuing valuable customer.

If you are staying that much in hotels and there are starwood, hilton, or hyatt’s available you should switch in a heartbeat. Ramada (Wyndham rewards and BW’s programs are not even in the same ballpark. Starwood points are well known to be the most valuable. Run, don’t walk to one of those three programs. Plus, with that many stays you should probably pick two of the major programs and get top tier status in each.

HOWEVER… I suppose this won´t work to status match to Hyatt within the next 72 hours and upgrade my 2 nights at the Park Hyatt Place Vendome in Paris to a suite. Wishful thinking! I´ll wait on the status match request until I´m looking at a Hyatt stay coming up later on.

Does this still work? I tried it, but need to reserve a room. Anyone else have that problem? Or did I wait too long?

I did exactly as you said dan, and I stayed at the hilton in indianapolis and they gave me a free suite and free breakfast and the executive chef came over to me and said that if I ever come again to call before and he will arrange to have a kosher breakfast for me. He said I should do the same at any of their properties.

looks like they might have caught on… the codes are valid but I keep getting the message “Invalid Registration – Please contact the Hilton HHonors Service Center for assistance.” — anyone else run into this?

Change the country of residence to match that of the Visa Infinite code. You can then change your address back in your HHonors account when Gold status is confirmed.

I don’t get it.. I’m staying here at the Oriental Hotels in the Philippines. Is there any Hilton Visa Cards here? Even I’m not in Hyatt?

Anyone know if this still works? I am going to Paris is 2 weeks and would love to get hyatt diamond status and this seems to be the only way, when I went to the link it is asking for 16 numbers, does that mean that they fixed the glitch?
