I registered my amex with code. Was charged going to airport which was cheaper than a cab, coming from airport charged zero on my amex cc. Just used app, zero came up automatically on my cc card.

The AMEX promo only applies rides FROM (originating) the airport.

To use the Amex airport promotion, select your AMEX as your method of payment when traveling from the AIRPORT. To use the 50% off promotion, select ANDROID PAY as your method of payment.
